Just what I needed...haven't been feeling great, as to be expected the week before my Benlysta infusion. So, of course, something had to happen to delay my infusion.

Apparently Friday was the last day of school for graduating seniors in the Anchorage School District. I made the mistake of parking at my boyfriend's house right after school got out. End result? My back windshield got smashed in. (I don't actually know it was a high school student, but there is a high school just down the road, and I get out of work earlier than most adults, so the balance of probability is that it was a teenager. Just sayin').

So now I have to pay for a new back windshield, reschedule my infusion, miss a meeting at work and generally feel grouchy. To whomever it was that smashed my window: I just want to remind you that karma's a bitch.

  1. Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body). Chronic means that the signs and symptoms tend to last longer than six weeks and often for many years.
